NAV is freely available under the GNU GPL license and can run on any UNIX machine that supports Apache and Python*

The latest version is 5.9.1. Choose between our installation alternatives.

Quick start

A pre-packaged Virtual Appliance in OVF format. Typically used for evaluation/testing.

Debian package

Takes care of all dependencies and is currently the most comprehensive. Requires Debian.

Source code

Build NAV from source. If you want NAV for a production environment, this is the way to go.
